I am a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher in the European network NextGenVis. aleMy research interests revolve around visual perception, sensory integration and cortical plasticity. I am currently carrying out my PhD project in the Laboratory of Experimental Ophthalmology, University Medical Center Groningen by studying how learning processes influence peripheral crowding and how visual field defects alter the connectivity in the brain. To do so I am combining several techniques such as behavioural psychophysics, eye-tracking analysis and fMRI, as well as keeping a transversal computational-oriented approach.
